Where do the rates come from?
From real shifts worked by Locumoid users, pooled anonymously and refreshed every month. They're the rates locums were actually paid, not the ones advertised.
Can anyone see what I charge?
No. Rates are only ever shown pooled across many locums, by region and type of pharmacy, and separately for pharmacists and technicians. Your name, your shifts and the pharmacies you work at are never shown to anyone.
Are pharmacists' and technicians' rates mixed together?
No. Pharmacists see rates from other locum pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians from other technicians, so a technician's comparison is never skewed by pharmacists' rates.
What does "effective rate" mean?
Your effective rate turns what you've earned at the rates you agreed, hourly or by the day, into a full-time equivalent hourly rate, so you can compare different kinds of work fairly and see the trend over time.
How much should a locum pharmacist charge?
It depends on where you are, the kind of pharmacy and the date. Bank holidays, short notice and remote branches usually pay more. Rate insights show what locums in your region were paid last month, by type of pharmacy, so you can see where an offer sits before you answer.
