Questions, answered.
Can I see my locum shifts in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook?
Yes. Subscribe to your own private calendar address from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, and your shifts and time off appear there and stay up to date as you add, move or cancel them. If the address is ever shared by mistake, make a new one and the old one stops working.
Can I see my other calendars in Locumoid?
Yes. Add your personal or family calendars, and their events appear on your schedule beside your shifts, so a clash with a wedding or a school play is obvious before you say yes to a booking.
Does it pull in shifts from agencies or locum boards?
Not automatically. Bookings come from too many places, by email, text and phone, for one feed to catch them all. Adding a shift takes a few taps, with the pharmacy, its opening hours and your usual rate filled in.
What are peak dates?
Dates when locums are in demand and rates tend to be higher: bank holidays for the nation you live in, Christmas and Easter, and festivals such as Diwali and Eid. They're flagged on your schedule, with a nudge to find a shift if you've nothing booked.
